Other start-up subsidiary businesses have included the recruitment businesses RCM Selection & Topdogjobs which were sold in 2005. It has been a technical and commercial contributor to Carbonet Ltd. in which it was one of four main founding shareholder. Carbonet is a specialist company whose aim is develop the technology of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), where CO2 is recovered from large industrial processes such as power stations and store it permanently in Oil fields. This process can give rise to significant additional oil production through Extended Oil Production (EOR). This oil would otherwise be stranded oil in place. RCMC is the consulting arm of RCM Group. It provides strategic advice to the energy sector through a range of advisory and hands-on services which seek to identify and focus on key management, business, commercial and technical areas to improve business performance.
